Hello Pretty Birds,
During Milan fashion week the "modern slipper" prince Charles Philip and Viviana Volipicella hosted an afternoon tea party to celebrate their Summer 2014 collaboration. Inspired by Viviana's love of all things Brazilian, the brilliant style is completely beaded in multicolor stripes. In fact, they look like jewelry for the feet.
Charles Philip launched the brand, officially known as Charles Philip Shanghai, in 2010 after having a favorite white and blue striped button down transformed into a shoe by a Shanghainese cobbler. Since then, with the help of his design partner Sheila Pitigala, the brand has quickly expanded to offer an increasingly large array of signature new-age stripes, graphical prints and textured shoe candy like Viviana's. To learn more about the brand head on over to CharlesPhilipShanghai.com. Stockists include Net-a-Porter.com, 10 Corso Como and Excelsior in Milan, Colette and Le Bon Marché in Paris, Harvey Nichols in London, Intermix and Sak's Fifth Avenue in New York and American Rag in L.A.
